About me

My name is Abisek Aveng and I build bags and gears as a side project, which has evolved into a prolonged hobby, eleven years to be exact.

KOVERT started with a personal constraint, for the fact my lifestyle involved frequent but unpredictable travel, not in a wanderlust sense, but out of circumstances. And for that matter, I could never find a bag that I could practically live out off.
So instead of searching for the perfect bag, I decided to design and build one myself

What started as personal experimentation slowly turned into a process of designing, prototyping, testing, and refining gear that adapted to different situations, be it commuting, travel, everyday carry, and movement between them without needing to own multiple bags. And henceforth, this is how KOVERT came to be. 

All the designs are developed through hands-on prototyping, one off production, and direct feedback from people who actually use the gear.

I don’t aim KOVERT to become a mass-market brand, but a small independent maker that sells few hand made units per month, just enough to sustain and fuel my next builds.
